We just finished putting together a little drawer set with a changing table top for the nursery - it's the cutest! It was the perfect nesting activity for me! Jeff also completed our new Ikea bookshelf last weekend. We are still awaiting the arrival of the crib... the ultimate challenge. Then I am going to work on warming up the room to get it ready for baby. Of course, we still need to get rid of furniture that is still sitting in there... along with the Coheed and Cambria poster that Jeff refuses to take down off the wall until the final moment. Oh, the sacrifices we will have to make... :)

Putting stuff together...

Starstruck
Ok, I would say 98 percent of the people who read this blog won't recognize Claudio Sanchez but he's the lead singer of my favorite band, Coheed & Cambria. He was signing autographs at Heroes Ain't Hard To Find (local comic book store) and I couldn't pass up the chance to meet him. So, Kate and I stood in line with a bunch of other fans and got to meet him.
We got a few things signed, joked around with him about the vinyl figure he created. I told him Kate didn't like the fake blood on the figure, he thought it was funny and offered to sign in black marker instead of red so she wasn't scared. Got a picture and wished him luck on the tour! Awesome guy, and yes, I know I'm a dork.
Here a few pics, including one taken by the store

For those who have asked for a pic, and remained patient (kind of...)
Here you go, friends...
Baby Bump - 22 Weeks. (January 31st, 2009)
Baby White is doing well, and growing!!! (Currently almost 24 weeks)
She/He is moving a lot now... in fact, we "jammed" to RHCP on the way to work together today. I don't know if the crazy kicks were telling me she/he approved of the music or couldn't stand it, but I would like to think we were both enjoying.
