Lotsa "Firsts" for Miss Avery

Avery has been very busy! She has had many "firsts" that we want to share with everyone!

First pacifier experience.

First car trip (to see Grandma and Grandpa in Sun City Hilton Head).

Avery put on her serious face for the trip.

First bath that she didn't cry through.

First ride in the swing - not sure about this quite yet.

And the best one...

FIRST SMILE!

Jeff, Avery and I are doing well! We are adjusting to life with baby, and Avery is doing great. She's been sleeping better at night and did well overall in the car on our drive to Hilton Head. Just wish us luck on our long trip to NJ at the end of next week!!! :)

We can hardly believe Avery is already 6 weeks old! My how time flies... and will continue to do so. Soaking in every moment!

Oops...

In all my excitement I forgot to add my favorite photo to the last post... here it is!

Obsessive photo-taking...

So, I knew that it would be a problem, but had NO idea how much of a problem... We are obsessive photo-takers now that Avery is here. (Ok, maybe just I am! But it felt like the paparazzi was here this past weekend...)

I was looking over photos and just couldn't narrow them down, so here are all of the ones that I love... including special visits from family, Avery's 2nd holiday (quite a lot for a baby that isn't even a month old!), and lots of wardrobe changes...

Uncle Martin even found a turtle in the backyard while playing cornhole!!!

Avery was quite a trooper with all of the attention she got this past weekend!

What a sweet little girl! We are so blessed...

On another note, my blood pressure was significantly lower last week and they think I am on the right track. Hooray!
