Old School Picture of the Week (Part 7)
Ok, this is a photo I took in Paris in 2001...I need to fire up the scanner and get some new "old" photos up (I'm running low!!). Anyways, I had a blast while I was overseas, got to see a lot of Paris, various other locations in France, Germany and Beligium. I wish I had snapped some more photos while there...

Say Goodbye To My 20's
Chapter 1: Saying Goodbye
On October 7th, I officially left my 20's behind and began my voyage into my 30's. First off, I'm a little scared, I guess I need to starting toning down my crazy, random weekends (just kidding).
I'll miss my 20's but I'm looking forward to the things that come with your 30's...like gray hair, various ailments, kids, more bills...awesome!
Actually, this blog was to address some of the fun things that happened during my 20's.
Chapter 2: Highlights
My 20th birthday was spent at Elon with my fellow Hook dorm friends...dinner in Greensboro at Chilli's and then drinks in the dorm hallway/bathroom...don't ask.
The Weddings we've (I've) been too...lets see....Joe/Kristie, Matt/Katie, Stacy/Norm, Andy/Julie, Kent/Kirsten, Tom/Jill, Will/Val, Jay/Jenn, Brian/Lynlea, Erin/Martin, Gabrielle/some dude, Heather/Matt, Elise/Jason, Dave/Kate, Sean/Carolina...There might be more...and even though we weren't there, we feel like we went to the Alexanders
Lucky to meet several family/friends who've had kids...we are happy for all of you!
Have been able to stay in touch with several friends from high school and college. Thank you Myspace & Facebook
Being a sports fan it was a good 10 years...NJ Devils, Boston Celtics and Stone Cold Steve Austin all won championships...The Chicago Bears and Atlanta Braves made it to the championship in their sports. Clemson, continues to tease me each year...I hate you!
Survived Spring Break in Key West...met my wife, attacked by ducks...
Graduated College...Elon was good to me and I finished in 4 years...my parents are proud, especially after they saw my grades 1st semester Frosh year! Sorry about that.
My first "Real" job outside of college...as miserable as it was, I have some great stories of writing workplace reports up for employees.
Bought a house...
Married...Kate, thanks for taking the plunge
My first trip to California, The Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Belgium and Mexico...I was a little worried I wouldn't survive Mexico.
Speaking of France, I was able to wander the beaches/water of Normandy...plus visit various American Military cemeteries...powerful places!
We've seen some great concerts...Aerosmith, Kid Rock, The Black Crowes, Metallica, Coheed & Cambria, Weird Al (Awesome), Tom Petty, The Avett Brothers, The Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance
That's all I've got for now, I'll be sure to make some edits!

Chapel Thrill
This Weekend, Kate and I are off to Chapel Hill for some fun with the Wyatt's. We've attempted to do something together every 6 months or so, which is nice. I'm trying to remember all our previous visits, hopefully these are correct. I'm skipping our weddings and Hostile Takeover IV.

Ok, my camera only goes back to October 2005...Here are the four of us tailgating before the Elon football game. I think we watched 1 quarter and left...this picture should tell you why. The rest of the evening we spent watching football and singing karaoke (Family Tradition?).
Next, Kent and Kirsten visited us in Charlotte. Somehow I have no pictures of the 4 of us but I do have a great one...we visited various bars and went to the Panthers/Jets game.
Next, Kate and I drove up to Richmond for a fun filled weekend of Redneck Racin'. This was my first Nascar event and we had a pretty good time. Kent and I missed half the race when we couldn't remember where we were sitting. Again, no group shot...here is Kate/Kirsten...note the cool shirts they have on.
We'll skip to our trip to Winston Salem in October 2006...the weekend was highlighted by Wake Forrest choking and allowing Clemson to come back and beat them. Also, dinner/drinks out and getting stranded at a redneck karaoke bar...
In December of 2006, we met down in Wilmington to celebrate the New Year! Lots of football, ridiculous football bets, bars with bulls and 3 person pictures took place. I'm not sure why we didn't just ask someone to take our picture. This is on the way back from the New Years party we attended. Note the W gang signs the ladies are throwing up...
Here is a random photo from last August. Kent and Kirsten stopped in for 2 days and we spent the days at the pool. It was 105 out!! This is a late night photo!

And finally, Mexico for New Years...the days were spent wandering around and me complaining about scary Mexicans, drinks at the various happy hours, making friends with anyone who spoke English, La Parka dances and being the highlight of many at the New Years Party...there are pictures from the Fiesta Bowl game but Kirsten said they were scary.

I have the camera ready for this weekend! Hopefully we actually ask someone to take our picture!
