So... we're on the home stretch. 7 months done, and about 2 to go. Baby White is growing and getting stronger (those kicks can really hurt sometimes!). Baby White took an in utero trip to Jacksonville/St. Augustine to visit Stacey and go to her bridal shower (D-day is the same day as Stacey's wedding so I surprised her for the weekend since I can't make it to the wedding!) It was great to get down there and visit Stacey and her parents... luckily the flight was super quick and not too difficult by myself. On our flight home we even had a male flight attendant that looked just like Edward Norton, my favorite actor!
On Friday we met with one of the midwives at the doctor's office and everything is going well. Baby heartbeat was at 140, I am measuring somewhere around 29 weeks and a couple days, and baby is head down, which is the position they hope baby will stay in for the final stretch.
We are getting excited about baby showers in the next several weeks!!! We have wonderful family and friends that are amazingly supportive through this whole experience. Thanks to all!
(We are also VERY excited about recent baby news from some of our nearest and dearest... we'll let them tell you themselves, but we are ecstatic that we get to share this special time with others that will also be first-time parents.)
