Avery has had a busy couple of weeks, and handled everything with a pretty "chill" little attitude. Avery seems like she will be pretty strong (she can already lift her head - she did it at 2 days old; I was so scared. I asked my mother "Are they supposed to be able to do THAT yet!?"). She also seems very determined (this also translates into stubborn, which apparently I was as a baby). Avery is a great eater now that we have that figured out a bit better, too.
Avery has made her first (albeit very short) trip to the neighborhood pool, her first & second trips to the pediatrician & lactation specialist, and even her first trip to Target and Walmart. She has received lots of fun gifts & clothing and is very thankful of all of the great friends she has made in the last couple weeks!
Grandma Bricker was here to help for a couple weeks, staying longer than originally planned because of my high blood pressure issues. Thanks to all for keeping me in their prayers... I have another follow up appointment this coming Thursday and will keep you posted and any progress being made. Here are some snapshots from the last couple weeks...
